Russian President held talks over Ukraine, Syria with British PM.

The British Prime Minister, David Cameron told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday night that the two nations must cooperate to implement the Minsk ceasefire agreement on Ukraine in spite of the deep differences between them.

Cameron’s spokesman said on Tuesday in London that the discussion was during Putin’s call to congratulate Cameron on winning a parliamentary election earlier this month.

He said Cameron told Putin during the telephone conversation, that they would “continue to have deep differences, but the priority now must be to deliver full implementation of the Minsk agreement”.
