Rapper Chinx Drugz, real name Lionel Pickens, has been killed in drive-by shooting as he drove his Porsche.

Rapper Chinx was killed in a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in Queens, New York, police said.

Chinx was a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys group and record label.

The gunfire erupted on Queens Boulevard at about 4 a.m., according to the New York Daily News.

Chinx was driving his silver Porsche Panamera near 84th Drive in Briarwood. At least seven bullet holes could be seen on the front and rear driver-side windows, the Daily News reports.

A witness told the Daily News that the rapper appeared to be lifeless when police arrived.

“The police came and they opened up the door,” Bibekanada Das, told the newspaper. “All you could see was the guy laid out in the seat.”

Also, according to the Daily News, Chinx performed at Club Red Wolf in Brooklyn at 2:30 a.m., just hours before the shooting.

“He was very good,” Luis Lopez, the club’s manager told the Daily News. “He was here with four or five guys. Then he left. He didn’t fight with anyone.”

“I got the news by the (club) promoter. To be in my establishment and then … It’s crazy, man. It’s really crazy. I was shocked to hear the news,” Lopez said.
