This is certainly a sad period for the Nigerian movie industry(Nollywood) as another actor loses mum. Victoria Okafor, mother to the popular comic actor, John Okafor (Mr Ibu) passed away yesterday, April 18th after a protracted battle with diabetes.
Mr Ibu was said to be by the mum’s hospital bed side at the time she passed on and was devastated by her death.
We join millions of well wishers nationwide to say a prayer for the dead. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
John Okafor is more commonly known as Mr. Ibu after an extremely popular role he played in a movie. He is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters.
