APC Presidential candidate speaks at the Chatham house on democracy.
[NIGERIA] The All Progressive Congress presidential candidate for the 2015 general election, General Muhammadu Buhari addressed the audience at an African Programme and Nigeria Project initiative in London.
He spoke on “Prospects of Democratic Consolidation in Africa: Nigeria’s Transition”. The speech was delivered at the Chatham house and was chaired by Sir Richard Gozney, former British High Commissioner to Nigeria (2004-2007).
Buhari who spoke for about 25 minutes gave reasons why he will do better when elected the President of Nigeria.
However, some Nigerian gathered in front of the Chatham house to protest the emergence of Buhari as a presidential candidate.
